Manual is an interactive sculpture that is comprised of a cast bronze pelvic-like form that appears to balance on a red vinyl pillow. When the hanging testicle-like clapper that is suspended within the interior of the bronze form is pulled, the sculpture rings. This work has been included in an artist collaborative installation project called Portico, created by Gordon Peteran. Manual, within the Portico installation, is on permanent display in the entranceway to the OCAD U’s Professional Gallery in (what is formally known as) Toronto, Ontario
