Applause 2012
Flag, custom vinyl type, metal pole
Thanks to: Stuart Keeler
Applause is a site-specific public art work that involved the presentation of a custom fabricated flag with the word APPLAUSE adhered to it. The flag was attached to the mast of a telephone booth in downtown Toronto. This work was developed in response to an open call for works that addressed the notion of the flag as a cultural, political or personal symbol. This intervention experience was inspired and curated by Stuart Keeler.
